About the role

The Senior Manager, Transportation Services will lead and elevate campus transportation operations at Creighton University.

Responsibilities

  • Lead daily transportation and fleet operations, including shuttle services, vehicle lifecycle management, scheduling, and service delivery.
  • Develop and mentor a high-performing team while fostering a culture of accountability, safety, and engagement.
  • Manage budgets, contracts, vendor relationships, and operational performance.
  • Drive continuous improvement through technology, data analytics, and customer-focused service enhancements.
  • Serve as a key partner across campus and ensure compliance with transportation regulations, safety standards, and university policies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Transportation, Logistics, Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in transportation operations, fleet management, logistics, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of leadership or supervisory experience.
  • Strong expertise in operations management, budgeting, customer service, process improvement, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Valid driver's license with a driving record that meets the university's approved driver standards.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain authorization to operate university vehicles.
  • Commercial Driver's License (CDL) preferred but not required.
