Senior Manager (Tax Accounting)

About the role

Atlantic Group is hiring a Senior Manager (Tax Accounting) in Chester County, PA for our client, supporting tax provision, financial reporting, and global tax accounting within a multinational environment. In this role, you will lead quarterly and annual tax provision processes, ensure ASC 740 compliance, and support complex transactions including M&A and restructuring activities. You will leverage systems such as OneSource, SAP, and Excel to manage tax reporting, enhance processes, and drive efficiency across tax operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead quarterly and annual tax provision processes in compliance with ASC 740 while ensuring accurate financial reporting.
• Review and prepare technical tax analyses including valuation allowances, unremitted earnings, and uncertain tax positions.
• Prepare and review income tax disclosures and supporting schedules for SEC financial statements.
• Provide tax accounting support for M&A, restructurings, and other strategic initiatives.
• Oversee provision-to-return adjustments and partner with domestic and international tax teams to ensure consistency.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required, and a Master’s degree in Taxation is preferred.
• Experience: 7+ years of tax experience required, with a strong preference for public accounting and multinational corporate tax experience.
• Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of ASC 740, including domestic and international tax provisions, interim reporting, valuation allowances, and uncertain tax positions is required.
• Technical Skills: Experience with OneSource Tax Provision, SAP, BPC, and advanced Excel is strongly preferred, and exposure to Alteryx or Power BI is a plus.
• Certification: CPA preferred.

Pay

Compensation: $175,000 – $195,000/year + bonus.
