Responsibilities
- Lead all recruiting across three entities, with primary focus on Warehouse associates (selectors, generalists operating powered pallet jacks and high-lift reach trucks) and CDL drivers.
- Manage and develop a team of three, building their capability in sourcing, screening, and pipeline management.
- Effective collaboration and partnership with internal stakeholders to achieve higher fill rates, new hire retention and productivity outcomes.
- Drive a multi-channel sourcing strategy across Indeed, skilled trades boards, social media (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok), Google, SEO, employee referrals, community partnerships, and job fairs.
- Manage all recruiting vendor and job board relationships with clear ROI accountability.
- Build a proactive staffing forecast cadence with Operations leadership based on shift coverage needs, seasonal patterns, and attrition trends.
- Own and report on TA metrics: time-to-fill, source yield, cost-per-hire, offer acceptance rate, 30/60/90-day retention, and Day 1 show rate.
- Proven ability to improve TA outcomes through adapting to technology advancements such as ATS automations, advanced Analytics, and AI augmentation.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of talent acquisition experience, including 3+ years leading a TA team in a high-volume hourly environment (distribution, warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing).
- Track record managing 300+ hires per year across hourly, skilled trades, and/or CDL populations.
- Experience managing recruiting vendors, job board contracts, and sourcing spend against budget.
- Hands-on involvement in an ATS implementation or migration, with strong data discipline and user adoption focus.
- Multi-channel sourcing experience beyond a single job board, including social media, referral programs, and community-based outreach.
- Experience partnering with Operational leaders on workforce planning and capacity forecasting.
- Comfortable operating in a bilingual environment (~40% Spanish-preferred workforce).
- Hands-on leader willing to source and screen alongside the team when volume requires it.
Preferred Skills
- Bilingual English/Spanish.
- Experience with Phenom, Paradox, or similar talent experience platforms.
- Recruitment marketing experience: career sites, candidate nurture campaigns, or employer brand content for hourly and trades audiences.
- Experience with recruiting chatbots, AI screening tools, or automated candidate engagement.
- Background in a mid-sized or family-owned company environment.
