Role Purpose

As a key member of the Site Leadership Team, this role plays an integral part in overall plant operations, with direct impact on safety, quality, service, and cost. The Senior Manager serves as the primary liaison between Central Planning and on-site plant leadership, operating effectively in the dynamic tension between enterprise supply plans and site-level execution realities.

Accountabilities & Impact

  • Leadership, development, and performance management of the site supply chain planning team
  • Coaching and development of leaders, building bench strength and long-term team capability
  • Creation and execution of short- and long-term production plans aligned to demand and capacity
  • Inventory optimization, including safety stock strategy and management of excess, slow-moving, and obsolete inventory
  • Ownership of supply chain KPIs and visible performance management against plan
  • Cross-functional alignment between plant operations and central planning partners
  • Active reinforcement of safety, quality, and continuous improvement of culture
  • Independent decision-making within enterprise frameworks, proactively identifying risks and driving solutions forward

Skills & Experiences Needed

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • APICS or related certification is a plus
  • 7+ years of manufacturing and/or supply chain planning experience
  • Experience in a CPG environment (greenfield experience preferred)
  • Demonstrated leadership experience, including hiring, performance management, and development
  • Proven ability to develop and coach leaders, not just manage individual contributors
  • Strong cross-functional influence across Operations, Warehouse, Quality, Finance, and Corporate teams
  • Advanced analytical capability with proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel
  • Comfortable operating in fast-paced, high-intensity manufacturing environments that require prioritization, judgment, and adaptability
