This role focuses on direct materials sourcing and cost transformation, helping organizations reduce Cost of Goods Sold (COGS), improve sourcing strategies, and enable procurement transformation through process, analytics, and technology. The Sourcing & Procurement Consulting Senior Manager will work across strategy and implementation, advising clients on sourcing opportunities, operating model improvements, and technology-enabled procurement solutions. Work you'll do As a Sourcing & Procurement Consulting Senior Manager on the Supply Chain & Network Operations (SCNO) team, you will be responsible for: Leading sourcing and procurement project delivery across process design, data analytics, AI-enabled sourcing and category strategy design, solution configuration, deployment, testing, and knowledge managementAdvising clients on supply chain and operations strategy and translating findings into sourcing strategies, actionable insights, and total cost of ownership and should-cost modelsLeading multiple workstreams and onshore and offshore teams in a fast-paced client service environmentSupporting transformation initiatives with eProcurement and AI-enabled sourcing technology solutions such as Coupa, Ariba, and iValuaConducting value chain and supply chain mapping, product teardown, and value analysis/value engineering activities to identify cost drivers and improvement opportunitiesBuilding client stakeholder relationships, presenting recommendations to executives, and directing teams to support delivery and client satisfaction A successful candidate would possess these skills: Ability to work independently and collaborate as part of a teamEffective written and verbal communication skillsMeticulous attention to detail and quality of work productAbility to build and sustain professional relationshipsAbility to lead projects or workstreamsAbility to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced and dynamic environmentStrong interpersonal skills and professional demeanorAbility to meet deadlinesAbility to mentor and provide clear guidance to others The team Supply Chain & Network Operations helps clients improve how work gets done across sourcing, procurement, manufacturing, and broader supply chain functions. The team brings together strategists, operators, and implementers who support transformation from strategy through execution. Practitioners may work across capabilities such as Smart Factory, Strategy & Innovation, Supply Chain Responsiveness, Sourcing & Procurement, and Product Development & Operations. Qualifications Required: 10+ years of consulting, industry, or combined experience5+ years of experience in direct materials spend analytics, Request for Proposal (RFP) and strategic sourcing execution, category management, operational procurement, demand management, and supplier management8+ years of experience leading teams or managing projects for sourcing and procurement engagements from strategy through implementationBachelor's degreeAbility to travel 50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.Limited immigration sponsorship may be available. Preferred: Experience developing should-cost models for direct materials, including raw materials, labor, overhead, and logistics cost analysisExperience performing value analysis/value engineering and product teardown activities to identify design-to-cost, specification, or material substitution opportunitiesExperience leading strategic sourcing for direct categories, including Request for Proposal (RFP) execution and supplier negotiationsExperience using Bill of Materials (BOM) analysis and spend analytics for direct material categoriesExperience with Supplier Relationship Management (SRM), including supplier performance management, supply continuity, or dual-sourcing strategiesExperience using eProcurement technology solutions such as Coupa, Ariba, or iValua, including AI-enabled sourcing or category management tools The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $171,600 to $338,300. You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
