About the role

Amazon Ads' Measurement, AdTech and Data Science (MADS) team is looking for an experienced Senior Manager, Software Development to lead engineering teams building our Performance Measurement systems. You will own engineering teams responsible for how advertisers measure the performance of their ad campaigns, combining deterministic approaches with modeled approaches to deliver a complete and trustworthy view of advertising outcomes across channels, devices, and the full customer journey.

• Drive AI-native development practices across your organization, leveraging agentic AI tooling to accelerate engineering velocity, automate operational workflows, and fundamentally rethink how measurement systems are built and maintained
• Be a hands-on adopter who pushes teams toward AI-augmented development as the default

Basic Qualifications

• 10+ years of engineering experience
• 5+ years of engineering team management experience
• 10+ years of planning, designing, developing and delivering consumer software experience
• Experience partnering with product or program management teams
• Experience managing multiple concurrent programs, projects and development teams in an Agile environment

Compensation

• USA, NY, New York: $242,100.00 - $327,500.00 USD annually
• USA, WA, SEATTLE: $220,100.00 - $297,700.00 USD annually
• Package includes sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs)
• Final compensation determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location
