Senior Manager, Social Media Strategy
Responsibilities
- Set functional strategy for social media and ensure consistency in execution across subordinate teams.
- Drive development of policies, processes, and tools.
- Oversee large-scale social media projects.
- Support executive decision-making by delivering trusted social media strategy.
- Lead cross-functional initiatives.
- Serve as the accountable leader for budget, performance metrics, and outcomes across the social media function.
- Develop talent through coaching, mentoring, and stretch assignments to build technical and leadership bench strength.
- May perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- College/university degree and 10+ yrs work experience; 6+ years of management experience; or equivalent experience as the subject matter lead or expert in area of expertise.
- Expertise in developing enterprise-wide data strategies that encompass data governance, quality, and accessibility to drive analytics initiatives.
- Proven track record in collaborating with various departments (e.g., IT, Marketing, Finance) to leverage data insights across the organization.
- Expertise in advanced social media techniques.
- Exceptional ability to present complex analytical findings to senior executives and key stakeholders in a clear and impactful way.
- Proven ability to lead, inspire, and manage diverse teams, fostering a collaborative culture.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities to address complex business challenges.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with executives, stakeholders, and teams.
- Expertise in leading teams through organizational change while maintaining productivity and morale.
- Ability to make informed, timely decisions that consider short- and long-term impacts on the organization.
- Proven ability to coach and develop team members to enhance their skills and career growth.
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, or the equivalent combination of education, training or experience.
- Master’s Degree in related field or equivalent combination of training, education and experience.
