About the role

Pebble is a sustainable living startup creating a new way to live, work, and explore from anywhere with a 100% electric, hassle-free RV trailer. Built by experts in automotive and consumer technology, Pebble combines electrification with cutting-edge automotive tech for a travel trailer experience that removes common hassles. Pebble aims to redefine living, blending the essence of home, road, and off-grid living into a sustainable lifestyle.

This is a hybrid role requiring 2–3 days per week on-site at our headquarters in Fremont, CA. The Senior Manager of Social and Experiential oversees two key functions: social media strategy and building, and event marketing. This role requires a blend of creative and analytical thinking, cultural fluency, and operational rigor across social and experiential activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and own the brand's social media strategy across all channels, including platform approach, content pillars, voice and tone, and community growth.
  • Build and manage an active, engaged brand community; turn existing customers into advocates and create genuine two-way relationships with followers.
  • Identify and activate organic content opportunities that build credibility and extend reach in ways paid media cannot.
  • Track engagement metrics and community sentiment; translate data into strategic recommendations that inform broader marketing decisions.
  • Stay ahead of platform trends, algorithm shifts, and cultural moments to keep the brand relevant and responsive.
  • Develop and lead an experiential strategy across multiple activation formats, from local events to larger brand moments.
  • Develop internal resources and processes to support consistent event execution across teams.
  • Identify and prioritize events based on audience fit, brand alignment, and return potential.
  • Define clear goals and success metrics for every activation before investment is committed; track, report, and apply learnings continuously.
  • Source, brief, and manage agencies, production vendors, and event partners to brand standards.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Creative, and Brand teams to ensure social and experiential activity aligns with broader marketing priorities.

Required Qualifications

  • 7 to 10 years of total experience across social media strategy and event or brand marketing, with at least 2 years in a lead capacity.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and execute social media strategy, not just manage existing channels; a track record of measurable community and engagement growth.
  • Deep fluency across Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and emerging platforms, with a strong point of view on how each should be used differently.
  • Experience identifying and activating organic content creators and community voices to build brand credibility.
  • Experience planning and executing brand events, including vendor and logistics management.
  • Strong analytical skills; comfortable building measurement frameworks and presenting performance to senior stakeholders.
  • Experience managing agencies and vendors across multiple concurrent workstreams.
  • Background in a consumer, lifestyle, automotive, or premium product category, preferred.
