Senior Manager, SOC Operations

Responsibilities

• Oversee global 24/7 SOC operations monitoring approximately 3 million endpoints
• Recruit, mentor, and train SOC analysts, developing their career paths and skills
• Identify automation opportunities to enhance efficiency and reduce manual workloads
• Lead threat hunting initiatives to detect and mitigate advanced persistent threats
• Evaluate and recommend enhancements to SOC processes and tools for ongoing improvement
• Serve as key point of contact for customer escalations and ensure exceptional service delivery
• Manage shift coverage and collaborate cross-functionally with engineering and security teams

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of managing a SOC or similar leadership role in high-volume alert environments
• PREFERRED: Experience in Managed Service Providers (MSPs) or Managed Security Service Providers (MSSPs)
• Strong knowledge of SOC tools including SIEM, EDR/XDR, and SOAR platforms
• Proven leadership skills with a track record of developing high-performing teams in 24/7 operations
• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity or related field; certifications like CISSP, CISM, or GIAC are preferred
• Experience in proactive threat hunting and incident response at scale

Pay

$170,000 – $180,000 annually
