About the role
The Senior Manager: SLED Contracts role at Presidio involves leading a team of Contract Managers focused on contract compliance and enablement. The ideal candidate will be based in the central or eastern United States and will supervise the team of East Contract Managers.
Responsibilities
- Provide leadership, subject matter expertise, and oversight to Sales Account Teams, Sales Operations, and Sales Leadership.
- Conduct comprehensive reviews of SLED contracts and solicitations to identify, mitigate, and eliminate unusual risks, non-standard terms, liabilities, and remedies.
- Develop, recommend, and execute contract and subcontracting strategies.
- Manage, mitigate, and/or escalate disputes through dispute resolution processes.
- Enable growth and utilization on cooperative agreements, subcontracts, and contracts within assigned region.
- Participate in continuous process improvements by identifying, developing, and implementing new contracts policies and processes.
- Present contracts compliance and enablement information virtually and in-person to a variety of audiences.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience working with cooperative or statewide contracts.
- Supervisory experience.
- Undergraduate degree, preferably in Business, Economics, Finance, Political Science, Public Administration, or related field.
- At least 5 years of complex contract management experience with at least 3 years of demonstrated Government (State, Local or Federal) contracts management experience.
- Working knowledge and demonstrated ability to interpret Federal, State and Local Regulations.
Qualifications
- Excellent spoken, written communication, interpersonal, and relationship building skills.
- Familiarity with managing all aspects of the contract lifecycle.
- Experience with risk management and insurance requirements.
- Understanding of key legal concepts including indemnity, liability, privacy, security, and technology licensing.
Skills
- NCMA Certification.
- Experience with risk management and insurance requirements.
- Relevant or IT related experience with customers in the general designated region.
- Understanding of key legal concepts including indemnity, liability, privacy, security, and technology licensing.
