Senior Manager, Security, Fire, and Life Safety (Onsite)
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a U.S. government-issued security clearance. An active and existing DoD Secret clearance is required after day one.

This onsite role at the Columbus campus—classified at the second-highest security risk designation—involves directing, coordinating, and managing security operations to protect assets and develop timely mitigation plans.
Responsibilities
- Direct and manage security operations, self-initiating appropriate actions to mitigate risks.
- Oversee an on-campus guard force of approximately 65 full-time equivalent employees.
- Establish and direct emergency response procedures for hazards including hazardous material, fire, medical, and technical rescue incidents.
- Deliver risk-appropriate briefings, in-depth reporting, or advisories to leadership based on security-related intelligence.
- Lead on-site security for special events, board meetings, and VIP services aligned with P&W Global Security Key Employee Security Services.
- Ensure operability of security technologies (CCTV, intrusion detection, access control, perimeter security) and co-design systems with other company programs.
- Manage Employee Badging and Visitor Registration.
Requirements
- Advanced degree and 7+ years of relevant experience (Military, Law Enforcement, Fire & Life Safety, Security, Intelligence, Cybersecurity); OR
- Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years of relevant experience; OR
- Associate’s degree and 11+ years of relevant experience; OR
- High School diploma or Military/Technical Training and 13+ years of relevant experience.
- Experience developing, implementing, and managing corporate security programs and third-party contracted security services.
- 5+ years of management experience or leading teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- College degree in a relevant field.
- Active U.S. government-issued Secret clearance.
- ASIS Certified Protection Professional (CPP) certification.
- Experience with LenelS2/Onguard and Milestone systems.
- Experience with Global Trade Regulations and Export Marking.
- Experience handling sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Experience conducting audits and reconciliations of security records.
- Ability to develop SOPs and process documentation.
- Project coordination experience with government officials, contractors, and internal teams.
- Working knowledge of continuous improvement tools (CORE/ACE, Six Sigma).
- Strong communication skills across the organization, suppliers, and customers.
Pay
The salary range for this role is $132,400 – $251,600 USD. The range is a good-faith estimate representative of all experience levels. Factors considered include role, function, responsibilities, work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
