Senior Manager - Scrum Master

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of multiple complex initiatives, ensuring alignment to business objectives, timelines, budgets, and resource capacity.
• Serve as an Agile leader and coach, guiding Scrum teams, Product Owners, and stakeholders on Agile principles, Scrum practices, and continuous improvement.
• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies and promote effective cross-functional collaboration, transparency, and communication across teams, leadership, vendors, and business partners.
• Manage risks, dependencies, impediments, and changes in scope, developing mitigation and contingency plans to ensure successful delivery outcomes.
• Monitor and analyze Agile delivery metrics, team performance, velocity, quality, and capacity to drive data-informed decisions and optimize team effectiveness.
• Provide executive-level reporting and stakeholder communication, delivering clear status updates, insights, and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.

Requirements

• 7+ years of project management experience
• 5+ years of experience in an Agile environment
• 2-4 years of Jira experience
• Healthcare experience
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills with proven ability to collaborate effectively across teams and stakeholders
• Expertise in execution and delivery, including planning and supporting team outcomes

Preferred Qualifications

• Jira admin and configuration experience
• PMP and at least one Agile certification
• Medicare experience
• Experience with automating business processes and using AID

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience (HS diploma + 4 years relevant experience)

Pay

The Typical Pay Range For This Role Is $118,450.00 - $236,900.00 This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
