About the role
For our client, we are seeking a Senior Manager Safety Epidemiologist to join the team of a leader in the Pharmaceuticals & Biotech space. This role will turn data into practical insight that improves visibility, decision-making, and business performance. You will partner with business, technical, and operational stakeholders to build reporting, surface trends, and translate analysis into action. The position offers the opportunity to strengthen data-driven execution and help teams focus on the metrics that matter most within a life sciences environment.
Responsibilities
- Execute data analyses using data analytic platforms to inform disease history and deliverables
- Conduct literature searches and critically interpret published study designs and results
- Contribute epidemiological content for safety reports and other regulatory documents
- Assist in developing study designs and protocols with senior epidemiologists
- Generate slide decks summarizing epidemiological findings
- Author publications based on epidemiological research
- Support commercial development and differentiation of BeOne products
- Foster good epidemiologic practices in cross-functional collaborations
Qualifications
- Masters degree (MPH, MSPH) in relevant discipline (health outcomes research, public health, statistics)
- 5+ years of experience leading epidemiologic research in the pharmaceutical industry or consulting
- Experience in designing and analyzing various epidemiologic studies (cohort, case-control, cross-sectional)
- Strong understanding of statistical methods (survival analysis, propensity score matching)
- Published original epidemiological studies in peer-reviewed journals
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple projects effectively
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills
