Senior Manager, Quality Systems

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Manager, Quality Systems to join the team of a leader in the Manufacturing & Automotive space. This role will lead the evolution of a quality management framework for autonomy-related hardware and software systems. You will partner closely with safety, engineering, operations, and supplier teams to strengthen controls, improve issue resolution, and support safer, more reliable platform performance. The position also offers the opportunity to modernize quality processes through automation and data-driven continuous improvement. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $145,000 – $200,000 annually Responsibilities Re-architect a flexible Quality Management System synchronized with the Safety Management System for autonomy Develop iterative closed-loop processes for continuous improvement and root cause analysis Establish design-control practices to manage safety-critical risks Automate quality processes using emerging tools such as AI/ML Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address real field issues Define KPIs/OKRs to measure QMS effectiveness and platform health Engage with suppliers on quality issues affecting the vehicle platform Qualifications 5+ years in quality systems for hardware/software engineering, including automotive, robotics, aviation, or similar environments Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical field Hands-on experience in design controls and root cause analysis Proven ability to rebuild or improve existing quality systems Comfort with automating quality processes and reducing manual effort Experience with issue-tracking and workflow management tools, such as Jira Strong written and verbal communication skills for diverse stakeholders Benefits Comprehensive healthcare plans including medical, dental, vision, life, and disability coverage Flexible Spending Accounts for healthcare and dependent care Rich retirement benefits with immediate employer matching Generous paid parental leave with a phased return Flexible vacation policy plus company holidays Total Wellness Program offering extensive wellbeing resources Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
