Senior Manager- Quality Assurance

About the role

To guide a professional QA team to improve quality of production in a systematic way and monitor system of goods from fabric stage up to shipment as per Walmart SOP and guidelines. Ensure 100% compliance requirements. Maintain OQL and OML. Review inline and pre-final, final inspection & reports and take immediate corrective actions for any non-conformity. Coordinate with merchandising, production, and factory teams to resolve quality-related concerns effectively.

Responsibilities

• Train, supervise, and guide QC personnel to ensure adherence to quality procedures and buyer standards as well as to provide technical backups wherever necessary.
• Maintain accurate quality records, inspection reports, and corrective action documentation.
• Investigate customer complaints, identify root causes, and implement preventive actions to avoid recurrence.
• Prepare and submit weekly and monthly quality performance reports to management, highlighting key quality indicators and improvement initiatives.
• Ensure timely shipment of quality-approved products.
• Promote a culture of continuous quality improvement to reduce defects, rework, and product rejection.
