Senior Manager, Quality Assurance

About the role

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Manager, Quality Assurance to join the team of a leader in the Pharmaceuticals & Biotech space. This role will guide quality assurance strategy for clinical trials, ensuring processes, documentation, and oversight align with regulatory expectations. The position will partner closely with cross-functional teams to identify issues, strengthen compliance, and support continuous improvement across study operations. It is a strong fit for a leader who can balance hands-on quality review with team mentorship in a highly regulated environment.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement quality assurance strategies for clinical trials
• Conduct thorough quality assessments and regulatory compliance audits
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues
• Review and approve clinical trial documentation for accuracy
• Lead and mentor quality assurance staff for continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline
• Minimum of 7 years of quality assurance experience in pharma, biotech, or CRO
• At least 3 years in a management or leadership role
• Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance (ICH-GCP, FDA)
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Willingness to travel approximately 35%

Pay

$110,000 – $130,000 annually
