Senior Manager, Project Controls, Project & Development Services

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Manager, Project Controls, Project & Development Services to join the team of a leader in the Real Estate & Construction space. This role will lead portfolio-level project controls delivery across complex client engagements, with a strong focus on governance, strategy, and operational consistency. You will serve as a senior advisor to client stakeholders, helping strengthen relationships while ensuring project execution is supported by disciplined controls and reporting. The position also includes mentoring managers and senior staff, shaping staffing approaches, and contributing to process and tool enhancements that improve delivery outcomes. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $148,750 – $175,000 annually Responsibilities Provide oversight of project controls delivery at the portfolio level Establish strategies, frameworks, and governance for project controls Act as a senior advisor to client stakeholders and enhance client relationships Mentor and manage managers and senior project controls staff Influence staffing and resourcing models for project delivery Contribute to the development of internal tools and process improvements Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field Master's degree preferred for advanced knowledge Certification in project management or a related field is a plus 13+ years of relevant experience, including 2+ years in a management role Expertise in client relations and consulting, with strong analytical skills Proficiency in cost and schedule management software Experience in construction, life sciences, data centers, or industrial sectors Benefits Health, vision, and dental insurance options Flexible spending and health savings accounts Retirement savings plans with employer contributions Life and disability insurance programs Paid and unpaid time off for work-life balance Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
