Senior Manager, Project
About the role
Oversees the planning, execution, and completion of larger and more complex marketing projects. Works in a matrixed environment and will own and manage a multitude of concurrent projects. Communicates project status to leadership and will ultimately be responsible for project success. Acts as a brand steward to ensure enterprise compliance with brand standards.
Responsibilities
- Owns and drives all project activities, applying project methodologies and enforcing project standards, to ensure quality and successful on-time, on-budget delivery of their project(s).
- Assembles project teams, assigns individual responsibilities, develops project schedules and determines and acquires resources needed.
- Communicate and enforce brand guidelines, ensuring all communications and materials align with the brand's identity and values.
- Acts as liaison between marketing/business stakeholders and leadership on project status, issues and risks.
- Supports the execution of promotional activities including digital, print, electronic media, trade show, direct mail signage.
- Interfaces with partners and boundary organizations to reach agreement on scope, obtain resources and ensure proper preparedness.
- Monitors processes and procedures to ensure alignment with business goals and objectives, recommending improvements and strategies.
- Reviews and evaluates work to ensure quality, timeliness and adherence to organizational policies and procedures.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree (accredited) in Computer Science, MIS, Business Administration or similar area of study or in lieu of degree, High School Diploma or GED (accredited) and 4 years of relevant work experience. 5 years of project management experience (in addition to education requirement).
