Responsibilities

  • Program Administration In Coordination With The Program Lead, Program Administrator Will Develop, review, and execute initiative program announcements
  • Develop and review program applications, forms, templates, and deliverables
  • Schedule, attend, and record relevant steering/review committee meetings and provide meeting minutes
  • Prepare and distribute meeting materials
  • Manage action items/deliverables
  • Program Evaluation & Reporting Implement evaluation processes that measure program outcomes and impact
  • Partner with Initiative Leads to analyze program metrics
  • Develop internal and external reports that synthesize results for internal and external stakeholders
  • Translate evaluation results and investigator outcomes into actionable program improvements
  • Grants Administration Manage application and review processes in ProposalCentral, including reviewer settings and assignments, applicant ranking and scoring reports
  • Manage pre- and post-award grant management through the grant lifecycle, including but not limited to contracting, regulatory documents, scheduling and reviewing deliverables, managing grant payments/refunds, amendments, and closeout
  • Serve as primary contact for applicants and awarded investigators, awardee institution officials, and when applicable, external partners
  • Serve as the lead grants administrator for a small portfolio of initiative and special program awards

Qualifications and experience

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in program administration including grant lifecycle logic and workflow; experience in medical nonprofit or academic setting a plus
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Biology or related field preferred; Master’s Degree in Tumor Biology a plus
  • Master’s degree in Biology or related field preferred
  • Expert competency in Microsoft Office suite, primarily Excel, and Adobe, familiarity with databases and analytical software/AI software a plus
  • Competency with grant lifecycle software; experience with ProposalCentral a plus
  • Strong communications skills in both oral and written communication
  • Excellent time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, and deliver quick turnaround in a high-energy environment that requires attention to detail and accuracy, discretion, flexibility, and a superior work ethic
  • Professional credibility, intellectual depth, maturity, sound judgment, and the ability to work with confidential information

Additional Information

This is a full-time exempt role. The salary range for this role is $78,000 – $85,000. Our compensation packages include an exceptional benefits package focusing on employee physical, mental and financial wellness. More specifically we offer Medical, dental and vision coverage from the first day of employment; with the election of certain medical plans, BCRF helps significantly defray the cost of out-of-pocket expenses with contributions to a health reimbursement account or heath savings account. The opportunity to enroll in pre-tax Commuter Transit, Flexible Spending Account or Health Savings Account and Dependent Care Account from the first day of employment. 401K, with up to a 5% match each pay period; employee contributions and any match are immediately fully vested. Paid parental leave offering 18 weeks 100% paid leave for a birthing parent and 12 weeks 100% paid leave for non-birthing parent. Paid Time Off including 15 days of annual vacation time in first year of employment, increasing with length of service. 7 days of annual paid sick time. Paid holidays along with BCRF wide half days and summer Fridays.
