About the role

Text is where our customers' most valuable insights live, and this role sits at the absolute center of how we unlock them. You will lead the strategy and execution to evolve our mature, highly adopted text analysis engine from classical ML/rules-based structures into a cutting-edge hybrid architecture that leverages LLMs for enterprise scale.

Responsibilities

  • Balance Innovation with Pragmatism: Possesses excellent judgment on when to deploy classical ML, LLMs, or hybrid solutions based on cost, latency, accuracy, and explainability.
  • Lead and Empower: Coaches, mentors, and builds high-performing product managers, holding the team accountable to clear outcomes while fostering their career growth.
  • Navigate Ambiguity: Comfortably charts a path forward through rapid AI/ML advancements, turning complex technological shifts into clear, executable product roadmaps.
  • Collaborate Generously: Bridges the gap between deeply technical applied science/engineering teams and cross-functional partners like legal, privacy, and go-to-market.
  • Customer-Obsessed: Regularly engages with enterprise customers to translate their pain points into robust, scalable platform capabilities.

Requirements

On Your Resume

  • Proven PM Leadership: Extensive experience in product management, including a proven track record (>3 years) of directly managing, coaching, and developing other product managers.
  • AI/ML Product Delivery: Demonstrated success building and shipping NLP, text analytics, machine learning, or AI-powered enterprise software at scale.
  • Technical Fluency: Deep understanding of classical ML/NLP techniques (topic modeling, classification) and modern LLM mechanics (prompting, fine-tuning, RAG, and evaluation metrics).
  • Strategic Trade-off Management: Experience building cost, latency, and performance models for large-scale production deployments of ML or LLM systems.
