Senior Manager, Platform Team

About the role
For our client, we are seeking a Senior Manager, Platform Team to join the team of a leader in the Healthcare space. This leader will guide a high-performing platform and DevOps organization responsible for cloud automation, infrastructure reliability, and the operational foundations that support critical healthcare technology. The role will shape the roadmap for platform capabilities, strengthen security and observability, and improve the efficiency and resilience of core systems. It also requires close partnership with IT leadership and business stakeholders to align technical priorities with organizational goals and cost discipline.
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of DevOps engineers
- Own the cloud automation and infrastructure roadmap
- Drive incident response and root-cause analysis
- Evaluate and implement new platform tools
- Advance security practices within infrastructure management
- Partner with IT leadership to align infrastructure and business goals
- Manage vendor and cloud cost efficiency
Qualifications
- 7+ years in DevOps, infrastructure, or platform engineering
- 7+ years in a people management role
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Proficiency in infrastructure as code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation
- Experience with CI/CD pipeline security practices
- Knowledge of observability tools such as Datadog or CloudWatch
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience

Pay
Compensation: $150,000 – $170,000 annually
