Senior Manager, Physical Security Enablement

Leadership

Leads, manages, recruits, and develops staff across multiple locations
Promotes strategic guidance and direction to drive team results
Establishes vision, communicates with the team, and ensures alignment
Delivers training and onboarding of new team members
Builds and motivates a successful team that delivers results and continuously seeks to improve performance
Lives the Magic of Equinix and sets the example for the team
Supports regional team, including working with counterparts and performing training, installations, problem resolution and projects, with travel across East region as needed

Communications Support

Supports internal and external communications
Ensures relevant stakeholders are engaged and kept informed of the progress and status of initiatives
Effectively communicates and delivers data-driven presentations, tailored to each audience
Cascade key business information to the team
Aids in root cause analysis and incident resolution of physical security systems

Budgeting/Financial Management

Collaborates with team, Field Operations, and regional counterparts to analyze resource, system, license, supplier, project and maintenance requirements
Plans, implements, and manages OPEX and CAPEX budgets, meeting Equinix KPI's and OKR's for budget vs. actuals

Project Leadership

Leads Security Operations team and vendors to complete data center and regional projects, while partnering with Field Operations teams and other business partners to ensure success
Builds and maintains relationships with key suppliers to support the needs of the business; holding them to the highest standards
Responsible for prioritizing, planning, tracking, managing, and measuring team output and productivity
Communicates status to key stakeholders and regional leadership

Security Support

Physical security at data centers across multiple metros of the East Coast of the United States
Facilitates internal and external security audits
Provides security systems support for data center operations, including resolution of sophisticated issues and complex installation efforts
Responds to customer RFP’s and RFI’s
Leads Security Operations team and vendors to complete security installations
Leads Security Operations team and vendors accurately complete security system upgrades
Aids in testing, troubleshooting, and incident resolution
Ensures work is completed to Equinix's standards, and meets operational KPI's and OKR's
