Senior Manager, Perception

About the role

The Senior Manager, Perception will lead the perception team, overseeing the development and implementation of perception algorithms and systems that enable autonomous vehicles to perceive their environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the development and deployment of perception algorithms and systems for autonomous vehicles.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including software, hardware, and data science to ensure alignment on perception goals and strategies.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organization to ensure alignment on perception initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in perception engineering or related fields.
• Proven track record of leading and managing perception teams.
• Experience with perception algorithms and systems for autonomous vehicles.
• Strong understanding of computer vision, sensor fusion, and machine learning principles.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
