Responsibilities
- Lead and support execution of the Operational Resilience strategic roadmap, driving delivery of key framework components and maturity enhancements
- Contribute to the evolution of the firm’s resilience framework, including governance, policy, standards, and methodologies aligned to regulatory expectations (e.g., IBP, impact tolerances, scenario testing, etc.)
- Provide oversight of operational resilience, business continuity planning, crisis management/incident response, and core resilience pillars, ensuring activities are effectively designed, consistently executed, and aligned with regulatory expectations and industry best practices
- Develop and deliver clear, concise reporting for senior leadership, risk committees, and governance forums, including dashboards, metrics, and thematic insights
- Prepare executive-level materials articulating resilience posture, key risks, emerging themes, and remediation progress
- Facilitate cross-functional meetings to identify and assess operational resilience risks across business processes, technology, cyber, and third-party dependencies
- Support governance routines, including committees, working groups, and cross-functional forums
- Drive aggregation of risks and themes to inform enterprise-level resilience priorities
- Partner with stakeholders to enhance data quality, traceability, and usability of resilience data (e.g., systems, vendors, locations, personnel)
- Build strong relationships across business units, technology, risk, and support functions to drive integrated resilience outcomes
- Coordinate cross-functional initiatives to address identified resilience gaps and strengthen end-to-end capabilities
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Technology, Risk Management, or a related field
- 5–10 years of experience in Operational Resilience, Business Continuity, Technology Risk, Cyber Risk, Operational Risk, or related disciplines
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience developing executive and board level materials
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality outcomes in a fast-paced environment
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills across all organizational levels
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
Qualifications
- Proven experience operating in a governance, oversight, or second line of defense capacity
- Experience within financial services
- Working knowledge of resilience frameworks, including IBPs, impact tolerances, scenario testing and exercises
