Senior Manager of New Reactor Licensing
Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Covers licensing activities between onsite and offsite organizations, agencies, and the fleet
- Interprets and ensures compliance with NRC requirements, NRC communications, reports, and correspondence, and the operating experience feedback program
- Manages the site NRC interface function for NRR, applicable NRC Region, and the site resident inspectors
- Maintains familiarity with specialized and technical equipment and processes
- Maintains knowledge of industry best licensing practices and Code of Federal Regulations guidelines
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- Experience: 10+ years
- Nuclear Experience: 7+ years
- Supervisor/Management Experience: 7+ years
Preferred Qualifications
- Senior Reactor Operator Certification
- SRO License - Active, Inactive, or Prior
- Site or fleet licensing experience
- Multi-site experience
- Code of Federal Regulation or NRC interface experience
