About the role

The Senior Manager, New Ventures plays a key role in shaping the future growth of the business by identifying, evaluating, and advancing emerging consumer products and business opportunities. This role leads portfolio strategy development, opportunity evaluation, business case development, and long-range planning to support strategic growth and long-term value creation.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of portfolio strategies that expand the business into emerging product categories, markets, and growth opportunities.
  • Identify and recommend opportunities to build a portfolio of emerging consumer products that support growth and long-term value creation.
  • Develop business cases and strategic recommendations that inform portfolio priorities, investment decisions, and business direction.
  • Lead financial analysis and modeling to evaluate opportunities, inform portfolio prioritization, and guide investment decisions and resource allocation.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to advance portfolio opportunities across build, partner, invest, and acquire pathways.
  • Lead annual and long-range planning processes that translate portfolio strategy into business priorities, resource needs, and growth objectives.
  • Influence senior leaders through data-driven insights, clear recommendations, and disciplined strategic thinking.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field; MBA or relevant graduate degree preferred.
  • 7+ years of relevant experience, including 3+ years in strategy, corporate development, corporate venture capital, investment banking, management consulting, or related growth-focused roles within the consumer products industry.
  • Strong quantitative, analytical, and financial modeling skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information into clear conclusions and recommendations.
  • Strong project leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, aggressive timelines, and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate strategic investment rationales and recommendations to internal partners and senior leadership.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • Comfort operating in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with evolving priorities and ambiguity.
  • Self-starter who can work independently while effectively partnering across collaborative teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead through ambiguity, solve complex problems, and drive alignment and decision-making.
