Senior Manager, Marketing - VR
About the role
As Senior Manager, Marketing – Vacation Rentals, you will lead the marketing team responsible for elevating Vrbo partner performance across our marketplace. Your leadership will be critical in building a creative, performance-driven marketing engine that unlocks incremental value from our partner base, improves engagement and product adoption, and supports the Vacation Rentals operating plan.
Responsibilities
Own the growth marketing strategy and roadmap for the Vrbo global partner base, aligned to the commercial strategy and focused on driving greater impact across partner types
Lead and mentor a team of partner marketers, building a culture of accountability, speed, customer-centricity, and high performance
Drive campaign execution with a strong focus on measurable business outcomes, continuously evaluating performance and optimizing when results do not meet the bar
Partner closely with Product Marketing, Partner Programs, Global Communications, and the Vrbo brand marketing team to ensure integrated and aligned execution
Represent the team in key leadership forums by sharing strategy, performance insights, and forward-looking recommendations with stakeholders, including the Vacation Rentals Partnerships commercial team
Manage team planning, resourcing, and prioritization, protecting capacity for the highest-impact work and communicating tradeoffs with clarity and confidence
Qualifications
You have 8+ years of progressive marketing experience, including 3+ years in a people leadership or team development role
You have a proven track record of developing successful marketing strategies and executing campaigns that deliver measurable business impact
You demonstrate ownership and bias for action by proactively identifying problems and opportunities, bringing forward ideas, and driving them through execution
You are able to bring structure and clarity to ambiguous problems and make data-informed, timely decisions that balance partner needs, business goals, and operational realities
You have experience assessing and improving existing strategies and campaigns, diagnosing what is and is not working, and building clear plans to increase impact
You collaborate and influence effectively across teams and levels, and you have experience coaching, developing talent, and building an environment of high performance and psychological safety

Pay
The total cash range for this position in Austin is $155,000.00 to $217,000.00. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $248,000.00, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role.
