Senior Manager, Mainframe Solution Architecture - Chicago or East Coast preferred

You will partner with business, technical, and operational stakeholders to build reporting, surface trends, and translate analysis into action. Responsibilities

• Design and oversee assessments for mainframe solutions with a focus on enterprise architecture
• Ensure solution integrity across large-scale, complex mainframe environments
• Provide technical direction and best practice guidance to Solution Architects
• Engage proactively with clients to address challenges and recommend solutions
• Transform stakeholder inputs into effective process and data flows for applications
• Maintain client satisfaction while aligning with organizational objectives and scalability
• Define project scope, estimate efforts, and manage implementation progress against SLAs

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in technical roles; 3+ years in architect or senior technical leadership positions
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with mainframe technologies (z/OS, CICS, IMS, DB2)
• 5+ years client-facing experience managing complex stakeholder relationships
• 5+ years of experience with change management and enterprise solution governance
• 6+ years of experience at the company or similar managed service providers
• Expertise in mainframe modernization and hybrid architectures
• Strong knowledge of the company’s methodologies and options for solution estimation

Pay

$155,000 – $210,000 annually
