Responsibilities
- Partner with Strategic Marketing, GBE, Finance, and Engineering to identify legacy, non-core product lines in the development of the LPL pipeline
- Aid the ISC and GBE teams in post-signing deal execution, including critical transition activities and working on contractual amendments
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to complete sell-side diligence for LPL projects (GBE, Engineering (multiple sub-functions), ISC (multiple sub-functions), Finance, HR, contracts, export, legal etc.)
- Define project scope: LRU identification and part list perimeter setting
- Value the Product Line (NPV): Financial keep case, revenue and cost build up
- Assist / lead multi-functional diligence:
- Supply chain – inventory pedigree/valuation, equipment & tooling identification/valuation, site diligence, sourcing diligence etc.
- Export – Verification of hardware, software and tech information classifications
- HR – People impact diligence
- Contracts – Affected contracts diligence
- CBTs, Sales etc. – Impacts to key customers
- Engage with current and future licensing partners on new business development and deal transition initiatives
- Drive standard process improvements and develop best practice methodologies and templates across all diligence workstreams
- Meet Strategic Licensing SRO, AOP, and STRAP commitments from directly driving execution of licenses
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of licensing, IP, legal, contracts, ISC or business transaction experience
- Bachelor's degree in business, economics, accounting, engineering, law, or a related field
- Business acumen including demonstrable financial skills and experience with negotiations
- Understanding how Honeywell Aerospace operates, its CBTs, its customers, its products, its ISC operations, is a plus
- Experience with transactions from creation to closure within a large, complex corporate environment, interacting with a variety of businesses and functions
- An understanding of basic contractual terms to negotiate positions with external parties
- Strong analytical skills, including skills in Microsoft tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Knowledge of aerospace markets, product, customers, competitors, and applications
- Proven project management experience and a high level of curiosity
- Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written, including executive level presentation skills
- A self-starter who can work efficiently and effectively, managing multiple priorities in a high-pressure environment
- Proven people leadership skills: skilled at working with individuals and teams to solve problems
