Senior Manager - Lead AI Architect - Knowledge AI
About the role
We're looking for an experienced AI Software Architect to lead the design and implementation of AI memory architectures and data fabrics for complex enterprise use cases. The ideal candidate will lead a team of AI Architects and have extensive experience in enterprise multiagent design patterns.
Responsibilities
- Design memory architectures for multi-agent systems to be replicated across AI-native designed systems.
- Design and implement context systems including RAG and Skills with semantic chunking and search.
- Implement and test these architectures, benchmarking performance against agent and human-designed evaluations.
- Drive agent design requirements and implement through AI-native design processes.
- Assess emerging memory architectures and frontier model proposals through primary and secondary research.
- Collaborate with other architectural experts in AI, Security, Data, and Infrastructure to ensure balanced and practical outcomes.
- Support strategic business development activities as required.
- Present at academic conferences and support development of intellectual property (IP) filings.
- Lead a group of skilled experts in building Knowledge and data systems for Knowledge AI.
Requirements
- Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Mathematics.
- 10+ years of experience in software engineering and AI.
- Experience working with AI frontier models and memory/context architectures.
- Experience with AI-native software development tools/code assist (Cursor, Claude Code, Qodo/Codium, Gemini, AWS Q, GitHub).
- Familiarity with scripting languages (Python, Bash) and software languages (Go, Rust, Java).
- Deep understanding of model fine-tuning and customization through context management (RAG, SFT, LoRA/PEFT).
- Experience with modern software IDE, CI/CD pipeline, modern code hosting and collaboration (GitHub/GitLab/Azure DevOps).
- Experience with Nvidia NVAIE and Microsoft Azure AI stacks.
- Experience with large-scale cross-functional software development projects.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.

What We Offer
- Cumulative compensation and benefits package based on performance and recognition.
- Base salary range for this role in the US is $144,000 to $329,100.
- Base salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State, and California (excluding Sacramento) is $172,800 to $374,000.
