Senior Manager, International Indirect Tax

About the role

Responsible for driving data-driven decision making across all business units to improve consumer services and marketing effectiveness. Oversee data analytics initiatives, including data engineering, data warehousing, and advanced analytics techniques.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement data strategies that align with business objectives
• Lead data engineering projects to build scalable data pipelines and integrate third-party data sources
• Design and execute A/B tests to inform product development and marketing strategies
• Utilize Airflow and Fivetran for data ingestion and transformation
• Implement causal reasoning and diagnostics to enhance understanding of customer behavior
• Perform advanced analytics using Python and other tools
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive actionable insights
• Manage data warehouse and ensure data quality
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in data analytics

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in data analytics, preferably in a consumer services or marketing technology environment
• Proven track record of successful data engineering projects
• Experience with Python, SQL, and data visualization tools
• Strong understanding of data warehousing and data engineering principles
• Experience with data warehousing tools such as Fivetran and Airflow
• Experience with causal inference and diagnostics
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in a relevant field is a plus
• Experience with Kinesis or similar streaming platforms
• Familiarity with fraud detection and prevention methodologies
• Experience with data modeling and database design
