About The Role

This role is responsible for shaping and delivering clear, compelling communications and campaigns that elevate the value of the Advanced Diagnostics (ADx) portfolio. As a strategic storyteller and execution-focused leader, you will ensure consistent, customer-centric messaging across all channels to enable commercial impact, strengthen brand credibility, and support the adoption of innovative diagnostic solutions.

You will partner with Global and Regional Marketers, Sales Enablement, Commercial teams, Digital and Creative services, and Agency Partners to align MarCom plans and deliverables with ADx standards and U.S. regional marketing objectives. Responsibilities include developing and standardizing brand positioning, content creation, core messages, regionally-specific segmented value propositions, and strategically relevant marketing claims—all while ensuring compliance with Medical Affairs, Regulatory, Legal standards, and MarCom operational policies. The role also includes budget management, campaign reporting, and support for conferences and tradeshows.

By aligning communications across teams and channels, you will help accelerate adoption, reinforce market leadership, and ultimately support better outcomes for patients.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and implementation of best-in-class, strategic marketing communications plans for ADx initiatives.
  • Drive the annual communications planning process in collaboration with Marketing to determine campaign direction and budgetary spend by portfolio.
  • Create and oversee the development of high-impact messaging, content, and collateral, including thought leadership, product communications, sales enablement materials, and digital assets aligned to the portfolio strategy and that resonate with key healthcare stakeholders across the diagnostic pathway.
  • Partner with Global and Regional Marketing to activate omnichannel campaigns.
  • Own agency partnerships and relationships for concept and creative development, message testing, media buying/planning, etc.
  • Lead creative briefs execution and creative concepts reviews to ensure alignment with business goals, marketing objectives, and brand identity.
  • Facilitate constructive dialogue between marketing stakeholders and creative services to drive on-target execution, reduce rework, and optimize budget expenditures.
  • Ensure consistency and alignment of messaging across campaigns, collateral, and all customer touchpoints.
  • Develop and guide recommendations for the most effective marketing mix to deliver on business objectives, ensuring timing and channel strategy maximize audience reach, engagement, and impact.
  • Support key product launches and commercial initiatives with coordinated communications plans.
  • Serve as a central connection across Marketing and Medical/Legal/Regulatory to align on key messages and product claims, ensuring compliance for all promotional activities.
  • Define and track KPIs to measure campaign effectiveness across awareness, engagement, and lead generation.
  • Leverage and communicate customer insights, competitor intelligence, and market trends to internal stakeholders and leadership to continuously improve business and campaign impact and inform messaging strategy.
  • Act as the brand steward for the ADx business and its portfolio of products, services, and solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, life sciences, or related field.
  • At least 8 years of experience in marketing communications, content strategy, digital marketing, or related discipline.
  • Agency experience in either media buying/planning or account management.
  • Proven ability to lead the development and execution of integrated communications strategies that drive measurable business outcomes.
  • Experience executing omnichannel campaigns.
  • Ability to translate scientific or technical information into customer-relevant messaging.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strategic thinker with a strong ability to connect messaging to business objectives.
  • Collaborative leader who can influence across functions.
  • Ability to adapt and perform in a global matrixed environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in life sciences, diagnostics, or healthcare marketing.
  • Familiarity with regulated environments and scientific communications.
  • Experience supporting product launches and complex portfolio messaging.
  • Background in digital content strategy and omnichannel communications.

Schedule

This role requires a minimum of 4 days of in-office presence per week at the Sparks, MD location (7 Loveton Circle). Remote or field-based positions will have different workplace arrangements.

Pay

Salary range: $132,900.00 - $212,600.00 USD annually. The salary offered will be determined based on the role’s specific requirements, including applicable step rate pay systems, labor laws, and Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) requirements at the work location.
