About the role

The Senior Security Manager will lead security operations of the National Industrial Security Programs (NISP). Reporting directly to the Director of Security, Industrial Security, this role oversees Facility Security Operations across the enterprise.

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership, guidance, and professional development for security professionals.
  • Ensure that the team fosters a cohesive and collaborative environment where diversity and innovation are encouraged.
  • Interface with all levels of corporate and government management personnel for all pertinent security issues.
  • Cook with senior business unit leadership to resolve issues that could have an impact on the security, and compliance of employees, programs, facilities and operations.
  • Apply expert multi-discipline program security management experience to enable execution, reduce/eliminate redundancies, and assure cross-discipline and cross-organizational teamwork through consistent and repeatable process management.
  • Possessing Certification and Insider Threat Program Senior Official Training.
  • Participate with Government/Industry Security Organizations (NCMS ISWG, NDIA, AIA, etc.).
  • Develop and implement security related training to include Initial Security Briefings, Insider Threat, CI awareness and OPSEC, just to name a few.
  • Construct secure spaces such as Closed Areas, SCIFs and/or SAPF.
  • Oversee the investigation of Security incidents and assist with disciplinary and legal matters as necessary.

Requirements

  • Candidates must have at least 13+ years of hands-on experience in Industrial Security across the entire security spectrum (DOD, IC and NISPOM - Collateral, SCI and SAP), Physical Security, Cyber Information Assurance, COMSEC and Emergency/Crisis Management planning and execution.
  • Must have at least 6+ years of demonstrated management and/or leadership experience in National Security classified programs and managing resources and budgets for small security teams.
  • Must have a current DOD Top Secret/SCI level security clearance in order to be considered.
  • Completion of FSO Possessing Certification and Insider Threat Program Senior Official Training.
  • Demonstrated experience in the construction of secure spaces such as Closed Areas, SCIFs and/or SAPF.

Qualifications & Desired Competencies

  • Proven ability and experience working with US Government security leadership in DOD and IC security programs.
  • Experience and direct participation with Government/Industry Security Organizations (NCMS ISWG, NDIA, AIA, etc.).
  • Extensive knowledge of the role of Security within the Merger and Acquisition process.

Physical Demands

  • Ability to work in an office environment (Constant).
  • Sit and stand for long periods; talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer and telephone keyboard (Frequent).

  • U.S. Citizenship Required.
  • ITAR Requirement: This position requires access to information that is subject to compliance with the International Traffic Arms Regulations (“ITAR”) and/or the Export Administration Regulations (“EAR”). In order to comply with the requirements of the ITAR and/or the EAR, applicants must qualify as a U.S. person under the ITAR and the EAR, or a person to be approved for an export license by the governing agency whose technology comes under its jurisdiction.
