Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or Military Experience.
- At least 8 years experience in marketing or business and consulting strategy and integrated marketing campaign execution.
- At least 3 years experience working across owned and paid marketing channels and delivering direct response and engagement campaigns.
- Growth Marketing experience at a tech company, ideally marketing B2C or B2B2C products.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear messaging for both consumer and business audiences.
- Highly collaborative working style with the proven ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and drive organizational alignment without formal reporting authority.
- Experience overseeing a complex body of results that either includes direct people management, or oversight and ownership of other people’s results.
Preferred Qualifications
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar role.
- Experience with emerging technologies and platforms.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools.
- Leadership experience in managing cross-functional teams.
What You’ll Do
- Design and optimize a full-funnel program using owned channels (e.g., email, push, in-product) alongside targeted paid, social, and site content to educate and convert cardholders.
- Partner cross-functionally to execute cross-channel campaigns, leveraging best practices to optimize the conversion funnel.
- Collaborate with the Enterprise Platforms team to pilot and migrate Emerging Payments onto Capital One’s new marketing technology infrastructure.
- Pilot and migrate Emerging Payments onto Capital One’s new marketing technology infrastructure.
- Work with product and analytics teams to build a continuous data pipeline connecting offsite, site, and product touchpoints.
- Establish a measurement attribution framework with target KPIs and integrate it into existing frameworks for owned channels.
Location and Salary Range
Capital One will consider for employment qualified candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate’s offer letter.
- McLean, VA: $177,700 - $202,800 for Sr. Manager, Brand
Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location.
This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non-discretionary depending on the plan.
