About the role

A strategic leadership opportunity for an experienced global trade compliance professional to build and manage critical compliance frameworks supporting international operations. In this role, you will oversee complex import, export, customs, and regulatory processes for highly regulated products while enabling efficient global supply chain operations. You will serve as a key subject matter expert, partnering with cross-functional teams to ensure compliant movement of materials, technologies, and products across international markets. Working in a fast-growing, science-driven environment, you will help shape scalable trade compliance processes while supporting global expansion initiatives. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented leader who combines regulatory expertise, operational excellence, and strong collaboration skills to drive business success.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Customs Administration, Law, Regulatory Affairs, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of progressive experience in global trade compliance, customs operations, import/export management, or international logistics.
  • Experience working within pharmaceutical, biotechnology, life sciences, medical device, radiopharmaceutical, nuclear medicine, or other highly regulated industries preferred.
  • Strong expertise in HTS classification, customs valuation, country-of-origin analysis, importer/exporter obligations, and global customs frameworks.
  • Experience managing duty drawback programs, customs optimization initiatives, and trade compliance improvement projects.
  • Knowledge of import permits, export licensing, regulatory approvals, and international requirements for controlled or regulated materials.
  • Strong understanding of U.S. Customs regulations, export controls, sanctions programs, and international trade practices.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively across global, cross-functional teams in a fast-paced and highly regulated environment.
  • Preferred certifications include Licensed Customs Broker, Certified Customs Specialist, or Certified Global Business Professional.
