Senior Manager, Global Scientific Communications & Engagement Strategy – Oncology Publication Lead

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Manager, Global Scientific Communications & Engagement Strategy – Oncology Publication Lead to join the team of a leader in the Pharmaceuticals & Biotech space. This role will guide global scientific communications and HCP engagement strategy across oncology, ensuring publication efforts are aligned with evolving data and disease landscapes. The position will partner closely with medical, data, and cross-functional teams to strengthen scientific impact and support effective external engagement. It also includes oversight of external vendors and publication planning to drive execution quality across multiple geographies. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $141,522 – $191,471 annually Responsibilities Lead the development and oversight of scientific communication and HCP engagement plans Adapt strategies in response to evolving disease landscapes and emerging data Collaborate with medical data teams to implement and track publication impact metrics Develop and manage the publication plan to support execution effectiveness Cultivate collaboration with cross-functional partners and manage external vendors Qualifications Doctorate with 2 years of medical or scientific experience, or Master's with 6 years of medical or scientific experience Advanced scientific degree preferred with 4+ years of relevant experience Proven publication strategy and vendor management experience in biopharma Strong understanding of publication guidelines and transparency standards Familiarity with multi-channel scientific platforms and digital engagement Benefits Opportunity to mentor and lead in a dynamic team environment Access to ongoing process improvements and digital innovation Global collaboration with diverse teams across geographies Engagement in high-impact publication strategies Training and skill development for staff across multiple geographies Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
