Senior Manager, Global Inventory and Cost Accounting

This role will support financial strategy, forecasting, and performance management initiatives that strengthen business visibility and decision-making. You will partner with executive leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to improve planning processes, financial discipline, controls, and resource allocation. The position offers the opportunity to influence enterprise performance and scalable financial operations within a life sciences environment.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze standard cost accounting records for inventory compliance
• Support standard costing for new product introductions in multiple markets
• Lead initiatives to improve the cost accounting model and identify cost-saving opportunities
• Ensure accurate inventory valuation and establish necessary reserves on the balance sheet
• Analyze inventory transactions and reconcile accounts against perpetual inventory records
• Develop and standardize inventory policies in collaboration with operational partners
• Manage relationships with Tax and international finance for transfer pricing and profit eliminations

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, preferably with biopharma experience
• 7+ years of relevant experience in standard costing with internal or outsourced manufacturing
• Proficiency in advanced Excel functions for financial and variance analysis
• Deep knowledge of ERP system functionalities linking operations to accounting processes
• Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail
• Excellent interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration across all organization levels

Pay

$150,000 – $189,000 annually
