About the Role

As a Senior Manager, you’ll spearhead our team’s growth, leveraging your extensive experience to architect and refine finance systems and processes. Your role as a tech-savvy finance expert will see you collaborating with finance users, IT, Product, and various business units, driving innovation and efficiency. We seek a results-driven professional with a commanding presence and the ability to articulate expert insights to stakeholders. You’ll thrive on autonomy, navigate complexities with ease, and employ stellar interpersonal skills to forge strong partnerships across functions. Your influential communication will be vital in propelling business enhancements and strategic value.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with finance teams (Pay-in, Treasury, GL, etc.) to streamline operations, improve systems, and ensure smooth daily and month-end processes.
  • Address operational issues and drive continuous improvements in Accounts Receivable, Treasury, and GL operations.
  • Co-lead projects, focusing on solutioning, process design, implementation, and BAU handover.
  • Act as a techno-functional specialist, influencing business decisions and advocating for company-wide benefits.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to develop and test adaptable finance tech solutions, enhancing functionality and user satisfaction.
  • Prioritize finance opportunities across quarterly, short-term, and long-term goals, targeting risk reduction, efficiency, data quality, and compliance.
  • Collaborate on designing scalable and resilient finance systems architecture to meet evolving needs.
  • Define and analyze key metrics for finance systems (Pay-in, Pay-out, Accounting, Treasury, etc.), identifying improvement opportunities and implementing solutions.
  • Deepen expertise in finance processes and technology within the travel domain.

Requirements

  • Over 10 years in finance systems and operations, with a focus on any of the finance domains (Pay-in, Pay-out, GL, Treasury) in the tech and e-commerce sectors.
  • A track record as a techno-functional expert in finance systems, driving operational excellence and authoritative guidance.
  • Strong experience in stakeholder management and the ability to sway decisions.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Decent understanding of risk and controls related to finance systems and processes.
  • Familiarity with the top KPIs for finance verticals such as Pay-in, Treasury, and GL, touching on both finance systems and the business side.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management with strong presentation skills.
  • Capability to work alongside Product, Tech, and Finance teams on various projects and initiatives.
  • Exceptional numerical, analytical, problem-solving, and change management skills, coupled with the ability to innovate and make critical judgments.
  • Basic SQL proficiency.
  • A keen eye for detail, self-motivation, and a mindset geared towards continuous improvement and learning.
  • A high level of dependability, urgency, results-orientation, and strong business acumen.

Nice to Have

  • Experience working in finance cross-functions (Finance operations, tax, etc.).
  • Familiarity with local/US GAAP and knowledge of compliance in financial and accounting management.
  • Experience in project management using various methodologies (e.g., Agile, SDLC).
  • Experience working in data analytics.
  • Experience working with Oracle Fusion ERP or SAP.
  • Experience with Robotic Process Automation (RPA) tools.
