Key Responsibilities For The Senior Manager Financial Reporting
- Lead monthly close and oversee financial statement preparation
- Review journal entries, accruals, and general ledger activity
- Deliver variance analysis with clear, actionable insights
- Partner with FP&A on budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
- Lead and develop an accounting team
- Ensure GAAP compliance and maintain strong internal controls
- Drive process improvements and support audit activities
Qualifications For The Senior Manager Financial Reporting
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- CPA required
- 6+ years of progressive accounting experience (insurance industry or public accounting required)
