Senior Manager, Finance & Strategy - Digital Ordering - SaaS

The Finance & Strategy team accelerates the growth of our business by identifying and implementing new opportunities and solutions. We partner with teams across the company to improve the profitability, scalability and defensibility of our business model. We're looking for people who can use strategy to identify areas of opportunity, and collaborate to help carry projects from conception through execution.

About the Role

We are looking for someone who will help guide our global strategy. You will be a strategic advisor to important partners across DoorDash to ensure we are making the most efficient investment and capital allocation decisions across the geographies in which we operate while improving the experience for all of our marketplace participants. You will help lead financial reporting and planning, and will guide financial insights and direction for our operational decisions and strategies.

This role reports to a Senior Director in our Finance & Strategy organization and is remote-friendly within the United States.

We’re Excited About You Because...

• You have 9+ years of experience in Strategic Finance, Corporate Finance, Investment Banking, or Consulting at a high-growth technology startup or well-established company, including at least 3+ years of SaaS/Software experience. Restaurant tech experience, including Point of Sale, a plus.
• You have experience working with (and presenting to) Cross-functional Senior Stakeholders.
• You thrive when building & incubating newer businesses – creating frameworks, templates, metrics and longer-range goals to leverage for your line of business.
• You have specific experience partnering with Go-to-Market teams and implementing SaaS unit economics, metrics and tracking (MRR, NRR/GRR/Churn, LTV:CAC, GTM performance indicators).
• You have advanced Excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets) and financial modeling skills. Experience building financial models used by teams throughout the company, and to size the impacts of opportunities and business cases for pursuing new projects.
• You have experience using analytics & AI tools. Experience manipulating large datasets, uncover hidden insights in our data, and improve our understanding of our business through this process.

Pay

The successful candidate’s starting pay will fall within the pay range listed below and is determined based on job-related factors including, but not limited to, skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. Base salary is localized according to an employee’s work location. Ranges are market-dependent and may be modified in the future.
