As a Senior Manager, Solution Delivery in our Finance Operate practice, you will lead the growth of our Controllership / Record-to-Report managed services offering in the Energy, Resources & Industrials Industry. You'll lead client solutioning and sales pursuits, advise senior leaders, oversee mobilization and delivery excellence, and contribute to account growth and market development. This role combines accounting domain expertise, managed services solutioning, Energy, Resources & Industrials Industry experience, commercial acumen, executive presence, and strong client and team leadership. Work You'll Do As a Senior Manager, Solution Delivery, you will: Lead and shape managed services solutions for Controllership / Record-to-Report opportunities within the Energy, Resources & Industrials Industry.Lead business development activities, sales pursuits, proposal development, client presentations, pre-request for proposal materials, and request for proposal responses for Finance Operate opportunities.Own or provide senior leadership for Finance Operate deal flow for the Energy, Resources & Industrials sector, including pipeline visibility, opportunity qualification, pursuit prioritization, solution governance, and handoff to mobilization and delivery teams.Partner with senior Deloitte leaders to develop differentiated client solutions, operating models, delivery approaches, commercial strategies, and value propositions.Provide senior oversight for engagement mobilization and ongoing delivery, including governance setup, transition planning, service management, issue resolution, operational reporting, and quality management.Serve as a trusted advisor to CFOs, controllers, and finance leaders on controllership modernization, Record-to-Report transformation, finance operating models, and managed services.Drive continuous improvement, standardization, automation, and technology enablement across finance operations engagements.Lead, coach, and develop teams while building capabilities across the Finance Operate practice.Contribute to account development, market development, internal knowledge sharing, and the continued growth of Deloitte's Finance Operate offering. The team Our Finance Operate offering provides ongoing operation of the finance function as an extension of Deloitte's broader Finance Transformation portfolio. We help organizations improve finance performance through managed services across key domains such as Controllership / Record-to-Report, FP&A, Treasury, and Finance Technology. Our professionals combine finance domain expertise, operational discipline, technology-enabled delivery, and deep industry experiences to help clients achieve sustainable outcomes at scale. Qualifications Required Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.12+ years of experience in accounting, financial reporting, controllership, Record-to-Report operations, finance transformation, or related finance leadership.8+ years of experience in managed services, shared services, outsourced delivery, finance operations, consulting, or related operating-model environments.6+ years of experience working within the Energy, Resources & Industrials Industry or serving Energy, Resources & Industrials clients.Experience leading or significantly contributing to solutioning, sales pursuits, transition, mobilization, or delivery for finance managed services.Experience leading client-facing workstreams, complex projects, or cross-functional teams.Demonstrated ability to communicate with and influence senior client and executive stakeholders.Ability to travel 50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future. Preferred Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.Active Certified Public Accountant license.15+ years of experience in finance, controllership, managed services, finance transformation, or solution delivery.Experience in audit, controllership, or finance transformation.Experience leading RFP responses, proposal development, pricing inputs, business cases, or commercial solutioning.Experience with enterprise resource planning platforms or finance technologies, including SAP, Oracle, Workday, BlackLine, or OneStream.Experience leading process improvement, automation, standardization, or service delivery transformation initiatives.Experience establishing governance models, performance metrics, service-level reporting, and operating procedures.Experience hiring, developing, mentoring, and leading high-performing teams. The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $148,200 to $292,300. You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
