Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the strategic finance partner for Enterprise Technology leadership.
- Support technology leaders in evaluating investments, prioritizing initiatives, and balancing operational and strategic spending.
- Provide financial guidance throughout the technology investment lifecycle.
- Develop trusted relationships across Product, Engineering, Infrastructure, Cybersecurity, Data & AI, and Corporate Finance.
- Lead the Annual Operating Plan (AOP), quarterly forecasts, Long-Range Plan (LRP), and monthly financial outlooks for Enterprise Technology.
- Build and maintain complex financial models supporting operating expenses, capital investments, headcount planning, software spend, vendor costs, depreciation, and project investments.
- Identify financial risks and opportunities while recommending actions to improve business performance.
- Prepare executive-ready reporting, variance analyses, and cause-of-change presentations.
- Develop business cases supporting technology investments through ROI, NPV, IRR, and payback analyses.
- Lead enterprise CapEx planning in partnership with Technology and Accounting.
- Monitor capital project performance and ensure timely capitalization.
- Forecast depreciation impacts across multi-year planning horizons.
- Partner with Product and Engineering leaders to evaluate new technology initiatives and product investments.
- Support financial planning for enterprise platforms, digital products, SaaS solutions, and technology modernization efforts.
- Develop product-level financial analyses where appropriate, including revenue, cost, margin, and investment performance.
- Provide scenario planning supporting strategic technology decisions.
- Drive financial discipline across software licensing, cloud services, infrastructure, and third-party technology vendors.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives that simplify financial processes and improve reporting automation, including leveraging AI-enabled solutions where appropriate.
- Translate complex financial information into actionable insights for executive leadership.
- Prepare presentations for Technology Leadership, Finance Leadership, and executive committees.
- Communicate financial performance, key business drivers, investment priorities, and strategic recommendations clearly and effectively.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related discipline.
- 7+ years of progressive FP&A, Corporate Finance, Technology Finance, or Strategic Finance experience.
- Demonstrated experience supporting technology, product, engineering, or digital organizations.
- Advanced financial modeling, forecasting, and scenario planning capabilities.
- Strong understanding of P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, and capital investment analysis.
- Experience developing executive-level presentations and financial recommendations.
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA, CPA, CFA, or CMA.
- Experience supporting SaaS, software, cloud, or digital technology organizations.
- Experience with Hyperion, Oracle EPM, SAP, Anaplan, Adaptive Planning, or similar FP&A platforms.
- Familiarity with technology financial drivers including cloud infrastructure, software licensing, product development, cybersecurity, and enterprise applications.
- Experience supporting global organizations and cross-functional leadership teams.
