Responsibilities
- Own and scale the Data Domain Model and onboard new domains
- Develop and execute enterprise data policies; monitor and coordinate compliance efforts
- Lead daily operations of the Business Glossary and facilitate term definition workshops
- Drive adoption of data catalog and governance tools through training and documentation
- Conduct data governance maturity assessments and report key metrics
Qualifications
- 5+ years in data governance, management, or analytics in a tech environment (B2B SaaS preferred)
- Experience in scaling enterprise data governance programs from design to adoption
- Collaborative work history with Product, Engineering, Legal, Security, and Analytics teams
- Familiar with Snowflake, dbt, and Cloud Data Warehouses
- Hands-on experience with data catalog/metadata tools (e.g., DataHub, Alation)
- Proficient in SQL for data analysis and governance reporting
- Knowledge of frameworks like DAMA-DMBOK, data quality, and observability
