Senior Manager Enterprise Data

Responsibilities

• Leads projects and process improvements that enhance the quality, management, and storage of enterprise data.
• Manages a team of associates who facilitate initiatives and data management.
• Directs activities that improve profiling, exception reporting, data analysis, and issue resolution as well as general fixes for the Enterprise Data Warehouse.
• Delegates work tasks and makes adjustments as needed to ensure the appropriate data governance.
• Creates data policies and procedures to be used both within the department and enterprise-wide.
• Reviews feedback from associates in order to identify areas of improvement within data management capabilities.
• Oversees data validation and reporting to ensure the quality and completeness of data prior to business use.
• Directs the creation and maintenance of technical documentation for the Enterprise Data Warehouse.
• Makes modifications as necessary to Enterprise Data Warehouse processes in order to enhance efficiencies.
• Establishes and monitors expectations to achieve company and department goals.
• Makes appropriate changes to team policies, procedures, and efficiencies in order to meet objectives.
• Manages the performance, training, and evaluation of assigned staff.
• Maximizes department achievements by providing professional development.
• Serves as an expert data resource to other management, associates, and project teams.
• Maintains a strong knowledge of current and emerging technologies or trends impacting the financial service industry.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and 8 years of experience in Risk Management including Enterprise Data Warehouse OR
• High School Diploma or GED and 12 years of experience in Risk Management including Enterprise Data Warehouse
• Understanding of data warehousing and transformation as well as extract, transform, and load processes
• Knowledge of technologies and trends impacting the financial service and insurance industry
