Senior Manager, Engineering (Nova)

For our client, a leader in the Enterprise Technology space, we are seeking a Senior Manager of Engineering to lead work at the intersection of data, AI-enabled capabilities, and scalable technology delivery. You will collaborate across engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions, influencing architecture, execution quality, and long-term technology growth.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Responsibilities

• Lead and scale multiple engineering teams focused on AI-enabled product experiences
• Act as a strategic partner to define technical roadmaps and prioritize AI initiatives
• Drive the architecture and design of workflows and application integrations
• Establish standards for reliable, observable, and secure AI-powered features
• Spearhead execution of complex, cross-functional initiatives
• Champion strong engineering practices across the organization
• Coach and mentor senior engineers and technical leads
• Collaborate with principal engineers and data teams to align on system interfaces
• Drive hiring and onboarding strategies for a growing AI engineering organization

Qualifications

• 8+ years of hands-on software development experience
• 5+ years of experience managing and leading software engineering teams
• Strong background in application or platform engineering within a SaaS environment
• Experience integrating AI or ML capabilities into production systems
• Expertise in aligning product, platform, and data science teams
• Exceptional technical judgment in system design and developer workflows
• Ability to thrive in ambiguity and define strategic direction

Pay

$189,500 – $290,000 annually
