Senior Manager, Engineering

Responsibilities

• Set technical and product direction for a code-native product experience
• Lead integration of coding agents into the product experience
• Own the developer experience, from APIs to tooling
• Develop a coherent roadmap from initial problem space to user-facing capabilities
• Collaborate closely with product, design, and engineering teams
• Engage in technical activities such as architecture, design reviews, and prototyping
• Hire, coach, and nurture engineers while fostering a strong technical culture

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree or equivalent experience
• 4+ years leading engineering teams focused on developer products or complex platforms
• Strong technical depth in compilers, code generation, language tooling, or developer infrastructure
• Experience with AI or agentic systems, or quick adaptability to new tech
• Pioneering ability to architect solutions for ambiguous technical challenges
• Leadership style that emphasizes technical excellence and team development
• Curiosity and proactive learning in emerging technologies like AI
