Responsibilities
- Collaborate with FFIO, Asset Management (AM), and FFIO Technology to improve data governance, expand the data catalog, and modernize reporting with OBI and Power BI.
- Partner with Technology and AM Data Governance resources to define and implement a Data Catalog strategy.
- Develop and deliver educational materials and training to improve associates’ understanding of the data environment.
- Advance FFIO’s reporting strategy by improving usability and scalability while ensuring compliance with data policies and governance standards.
- Proactively engage with service line managers, enterprise cybersecurity and other parties to implement access profiles and entitlements that support appropriate data access controls.
Requirements
- Bachelor's, Master’s degree or equivalent experience with a focus in Finance, Data Analysis or Data Visualization
- 8 plus years of experience in Financial Services, Data Governance, or Business Intelligence
- 3 plus years of experience with data analysis or data management
- Experience with data catalog tools, Power BI, or OBIEE preferred
- Solid grasp of Data Governance, Data Management, Data Architecture, Data Modeling, Data Warehousing, and Business Intelligence concepts, including Master Data Management
- Strong expertise in data visualization, reporting frameworks, BI architecture, and experience with tools such as Power BI and OBIEE
- Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies and ability to navigate sophisticated organizations, removing roadblocks and driving collaboration across business and technology teams
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and business writing skills, with the ability to develop educational materials that improve data literacy
- Strategic approach focused on continuous improvement and innovation, with validated ability to lead and influence across diverse teams
- Experience with or skills for managing data cataloging and collaboration tools (e.g., Informatica Analyst, Informatica Enterprise Data Catalog, Collibra, Mind Manager, SharePoint)
Qualifications
