Senior Manager, Corporate Events

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the business, business goals, brand guidelines, communication strategy to lead the corporate communications events team with a cohesive approach that resonates with key internal and external audiences.
  • Work closely with the CMO, senior executives, and cross-functional partners to ensure events strategically support business objectives, reinforce corporate messaging, and strengthen relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Hire, develop, and mentor the Events team, including performance management, career development, and succession planning.
  • Provide coaching and regular feedback to ensure team growth and high performance.
  • Oversee event technology platforms, ensuring effective use of registration systems, attendee tracking, and engagement tools.
  • Manage vendor relationships to optimize event technology solutions.
  • Lead comprehensive budget oversight, including purchase orders, vendor payments, and financial forecasting.
  • Collaborate with Finance to optimize event spend and ensure cost-effectiveness.
  • Define and track event success metrics, including attendee satisfaction, engagement levels, and ROI.
  • Use data insights to refine event strategies and enhance future outcomes.
  • Lead the planning and execution of various corporate events, including company-wide celebrations, incentive trips and strategy summits ensuring each aligns with broader strategic goals.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to determine event goals, themes, budgets and timelines.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including Communications, HR and Brand, to ensure cohesive event messaging and branding.
  • Develop and manage event budgets, ensuring cost-effective event planning and adherence to financial guidelines.
  • Ensure all events are delivered on time, within budget and meet high standards of quality and attendee experience.
  • Lead on-site event coordination, managing real-time issue resolution to ensure flawless execution, smooth leadership involvement, and a high-quality attendee experience.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, communications, marketing or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience leading large-scale corporate events, including event strategy, budget management, vendor and venue partnerships, contract negotiations, logistics, on-site execution, and collaboration with senior leaders and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to project manage multiple events, priorities, and deadlines in a dynamic environment.
  • Ability to travel as needed to support event planning, execution, and onsite leadership.
