About the role
The Senior Manager, Content & Thought Leadership owns Goodway Group's editorial strategy and content engine. This role turns Goodway's expertise into distinctive stories that strengthen the company's reputation, increase executive visibility, grow qualified pipeline, and establish Goodway Group as the leading independent partner in Connected Commerce.
Responsibilities
- Editorial Strategy & Brand Narrative
- Own Goodway Group's editorial and content strategy across all internal and external channels.
- Translate the North Star and Three Cs into a year-round editorial roadmap.
- Decide what stories Goodway tells, when they are published, and which channels create the greatest commercial impact.
- Maintain one consistent editorial voice across every customer-facing touchpoint.
- Ensure every piece of content supports Goodway's positioning as the leading Connected Commerce partner.
- Thought Leadership & Intellectual Property
- Lead Goodway's annual thought leadership program.
- Produce flagship research including the annual Connected Commerce Report.
- Develop whitepapers, POVs, playbooks, and insight-led content that differentiates Goodway in market.
- Turn subject matter expertise into original intellectual property clients and prospects actively seek out.
- Manage content and thought leadership calendars across the 3 C’s that maintain consistent, high-quality output and high engagement throughout the year.
- Executive Thought Leadership
- Build executive thought leadership programs across the leadership team.
- Develop LinkedIn and Instagram content, keynote messaging, contributed articles, and podcast opportunities.
- Partner with PR to secure media opportunities, speaking engagements, and industry recognition.
- Position Goodway executives as trusted voices in Connected Commerce.
- Growth Content & Sales Enablement
- Develop content that supports and drives qualified pipeline growth.
- Create sales enablement assets including presentations, case studies, one-pagers, and ABM content.
- Partner with Business Development and Sales to create content that helps open opportunities and accelerate sales conversations.
- Measure the commercial impact of content through pipeline influence and engagement.
- Content Operations
- Own and manage the annual content calendar.
- Coordinate contributions from LOB practice leaders, SME, and Goodway Group leadership.
- Support external PR partners and production resources.
- Maintain editorial content quality, governance, and publishing standards.
- Ensure content is delivered on time and supports business priorities across global markets.
- Innovation & Market Intelligence
- Monitor emerging trends across AI, social media, GEO/SEO, content formats, and Connected Commerce.
- Identify opportunities before competitors and translate them into new editorial programs.
- Track competitive activity and share of voice and make recommendations.
- Continually improve editorial processes, workflows, and content performance.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in B2B content marketing, editorial strategy, thought leadership, communications, or a related field.
- Exceptional writing and editing skills, with a portfolio of thought leadership, research, executive content, or other insight-led work.
- Experience developing and managing an editorial strategy across multiple channels and audiences.
- Skilled at translating complex subject matter into clear, compelling content that supports brand authority and commercial growth.
- Experience partnering with executives and subject matter experts to develop distinctive perspectives and original content.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage editorial calendars, contributors, agencies, and competing deadlines.
- Working knowledge of SEO/GEO, AI-enabled content practices, social platforms, and content performance measurement.
- Strong editorial judgment and the ability to influence senior stakeholders while working independently in a fast-moving environment.
