About the role

The Senior Manager, Communications supports the Group Communications team, reporting to the Vice President, Executive Communications. This role helps advance group-level communications priorities by developing clear narratives, compelling visuals and scalable materials that help senior leaders engage employees, customers and key stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Support and execute Group Communications strategies that advance business priorities, executive visibility, and enterprise objectives.
  • Create communication toolkits, best practices, and resources to drive consistency, clarity, and alignment across channels and stakeholders.
  • Develop executive communications and leadership content, including presentations, speeches, talking points, scripts, briefing materials, and leader messages.
  • Support communications for high-impact business events, including customer engagements, sales meetings, industry events, M&A activities, and integrations.
  • Lead internal and change communications that inform, engage, and connect employees to group priorities, enterprise strategy, and Stryker’s mission.
  • Develop clear, compelling business narratives and visual communications while ensuring alignment with brand, accessibility, inclusion, editorial, and corporate communication standards.
  • Support external communications, executive visibility, issues management, and reputation initiatives to strengthen brand advocacy and stakeholder trust.
  • Measure communication effectiveness and collaborate cross-functionally with communications teams, agencies, designers, videographers, and consultants to continuously improve and deliver strategic communications.

Requirements

  • Required: Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum 10 years professional experience
  • Preferred: MBA
  • Minimum 7 years communications experience
  • Agency experience
  • Experience supporting senior executives, leadership teams or group-level business priorities
  • Experience developing executive presentations, creative campaigns, event branding, video content or scalable communication toolkits
  • Experience leading cross-functional creative teams, agency partners or project-based teams without direct authority

Pay Ranges: USN: $135,600 - $225,900 USD Annual
US5: $142,400 - $237,200 USD Annual
US10: $149,200 - $248,500 USD Annual
US15: $155,900 - $259,800 USD Annual
US20: $162,700 - $271,100 USD Annual
US30: $176,300 - $293,700 USD Annual
